If you don't tell the website to "remember me", you will be logged out after one hour.

What URL are you using to access the website? Try to use www.archive.org (no webdev.archive.org or archive.org).

Yes I'm using the www.archive.org, and it seems to time me out in much less than an hour... twice in the last hour in fact.

Just guessing- besides the "remember me" setting, you would also have to have your browser set to accept cookies for it to "stay", correct?

Cookies are definitely required, but if he didn't have cookies, it wouldn't work at all.

I've been playing with this and I think it might have to do with muliple browser frames open in Opera.

Ah strange. I can test it out in Opera tomorrow at the office. Are you using a PC or a Mac?

PC, Opera 7.11, Win98SE. I usually have multiple Opera frames open but never got logged out until recently.
